| The United Youth Development Organization (UYDO) is a youth-led, grass roots, not-for-profit organisation driven by hundreds of members from more than 35 different countries. We stand united against poverty, inequality and injustice.
Poverty and unemployment are big problems in the developing world and an overwhelming number of young people are directly impacted every day. Without opportunities, young people are unable to improve their lives. UYDO was set up to provide small loans, training and support to young entrepreneurs in the developing world, therefore enabling young people to start their own businesses and take themselves out of poverty. UYDO believes that employment is an extremely important tool for the eradication of poverty, as it not only provides young people with an income for vital necessities, but also empowers them to take an active role in their communities.
