UYDO needs YOU!
YOUR enthusiasm,
YOUR motivation,
YOUR fundraising!
YOUR enthusiasm,
YOUR motivation,
YOUR fundraising!
The United Youth Development Organization (UYDO) is looking for passionate individuals of all ages and backgrounds to take part in a sponsored run and help change the lives of young people in sub-Saharan Africa.
Why not challenge yourself over the next few months to get fit and healthy, and raise some money for UYDO at the same time?
What is it? The FSI - Foundation for Social Improvement - is hosting a challenge on the grounds of Thornbridge Hall, Derbyshire, to support small charities. You can choose to either walk or run 4km or 10km in the beautiful and famous Peak District. Ask your friends, family and colleagues to fund your healthy motives or even better – make them join you! Your fundraising will go towards empowering and supporting young people in sub-Saharan Africa.
When is it? Saturday 5th of June 2010.
What you get out of it:
- Keeping fit while raising funds for a good cause.
- The great outdoors and fun.
- Food and drinks on the grounds for all to enjoy, as well as a great atmosphere as all the entrants get cheered through the finishing posts.
- The possibility of relaxing and enjoying good company on the magnificent grounds of Thornbridge Hall – a stunning stately home.
- If you don’t live close to Derbyshire, why not make a weekend of it? Thornbridge Hall is just 15 miles from Chatsworth House and some stunning walks in the Peak District. Get away and spoil yourself - all for a good cause!
- Get in touch with UYDO's Fundraising Manager Signe Sørensen and we will send you a registration form and Runner’s Pack.
- The deadline is the 1st of May 2010!
- Places are allocated on a first come first served basis so be quick if you don’t want to miss out on an amazing opportunity!
- Thanks to the FSI there is no registration fee so all the funds you raise for UYDO go straight to the cause.
- Motivate and engage your friends, family or colleagues (more on this is the runner’s pack).
