How do I start a group? How do I invite my friends to join? How do I know someone has requested to join my group? How can I donate to a group? I'm a group leader, how can I invest in entrepreneurs? I'm a group member, how can I invest in entrepreneurs? There's no 'Invest' button on the entrepreneur profiles to enable me to invest, what's wrong? How do I start a group? 1) Register with us! 2) Email startagroup@uydo.org, attaching a group photo and introduction to your group (this will go on your profile) How do I invite my friends to join? We are trying to make it easy for you to invite your friends, so please bear with us while we make this possible. In the meantime, you can copy the link to your group profile from the address bar of your browser to your mail account, or share it on social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter! How do I know someone has requested to join my group? When someone clicks ‘JOIN’ on your group profile, you will receive a private message. 1) Login to UYDO, then go to YOUR ACCOUNT 2) Click the ‘... New Private Message’ link on the title bar 
3) In your Private Conversations Inbox, click to open the ‘Request To Join...’ message 4) To add the person to your group, click their username e.g. jacklondon 
5) On their profile, click ‘Manage Group Membership’ 
6) Check the box next to the name of your group to make the person a member, then confirm by clicking ‘Modify Profile’ 
7) You’re done! Repeat these steps again from 2), or click HOME to return to UYDO.org How can I donate to a group? You can donate to a group on UYDO's Donate page 1) Lookup the group's name (note: this will appear automatically if you've clicked through from the DONATE TO THIS GROUP button on the group's profile 
2) Choose an amount and frequency (Just Once, Once a Month, Once a Quarter, or Once a Year) and click DONATE 3) You will be redirected to Paypal, our secure provider for card transactions. On completion you can return to UYDO and see the balance of your group increased! I'm a group leader, how can I invest in entrepreneurs? Group leaders can only invest in entrepreneurs if their group has a balance greater than £0. 1) Navigate to the entrepreneur's profile, click INVEST FUNDS 
2) In the window that opens, enter the amount of your balance that you'd like to invest and click INVEST 
3) Check back to see the amount raised for the entrepreneur increase on their profile, and also have a look at your group profile, your balance and list of entrepreneurs invested in will be updated! I'm a group member, how can I invest in entrepreneurs? At this time, only group leaders can invest in entrepreneurs. Donate to UYDO or if you don't see a group you want to join, start one yourself! There's no 'Invest' button on the entrepreneur profiles to enable me to invest, what's wrong? This is because you are either not a group leader or you are a group leader but have a £0 balance. |
