Privacy Policy
At UYDO, we like to be open about what we are doing.
The privacy of your details is rightly a big concern, so here is what we use and how we keep it safe:
What we use:
* Our website uses cookies to recognised logged in users. This puts a small bit of text in a file on your computer, which our site can then read later to know who you are. You can delete these through your internet browser.
* We use our own tracking and Google Analytics to view statistics about hits on our website. This includes logging your IP address.
* You can input information about yourself into our website when registering for a website account.
* The UYDO website may send you emails relating to the operation of your website account, and automatically send you a newsletter about UYDO actvities. An unsubscribe option for the newsletter will be available.
How we keep the information safe:
* Our server is kept secure to ensure that unauthorised users cannot access any details stored.
* All data is backed up to a secure location to ensure recovery in the case of hardware failure.
* We delete details of website hits stored on our tracker within 16 weeks.
If you wish us to delete your user account, please contact the webteam and we will do this for you as soon as possible.
It is not practical to delete your details from our backup files, but in the unlikely event of needing to recover data, we will ensure your details remain removed
